The 2008 WSORR season came to a close over this past weekend at the biggest race of the year, the 2008 BorgWarner Off-Road World Championships, held at the historic Crandon International Off-Road Raceway in Crandon, Wisconsin. 2008 was a roller coaster season for driver Dave Waldvogel and the Bendix® Brakes/Toyo Tires Pro-2WD team, with glimpses of speed and potential mixed in with some gut-wrenching DNF's. The team was eager to get on the track in Crandon, where driver Dave Waldvogel has had huge success over the past few years.
"Moving into Pro-2WD this year was the biggest challenge that our team has undertaken, by far. I am so proud of the effort that my crew has put in this year. It seemed like at times, the cards were stacked against us, but we just kept digging. Our goal was to make a splash by jumping up to Pro-2WD, and I think we did just that. We know we have some work to do to get better for next year, but we were competitive this year, and that means a lot to me."
